Eternal Limited Q1 FY27 Results: Revenue Surges 182% YoY, EBITDA Jumps Over 4x, Profit Remains Positive

Eternal Limited reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, driven by robust revenue growth and significant improvement in operating profitability. The company posted sharp year-on-year gains in revenue, EBITDA, and profit before tax, reflecting continued business expansion. However, net profit declined sequentially compared to the previous quarter.

Eternal Limited Revenue Rises 182% Year-on-Year

Eternal Limited’s revenue from operations climbed to ₹20,211 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹7,167 crore in the same quarter last year, marking an impressive 182% year-on-year increase. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue grew 16.88%, indicating sustained momentum across the company’s operations.

Eternal Limited EBITDA More Than Quadruples

The company reported EBITDA of ₹594 crore, up from ₹115 crore in Q1 FY26, representing a remarkable 416.52% year-on-year growth. Compared with the previous quarter, EBITDA increased 22.22%.

EBITDA margin improved to 2.94%, compared with 1.60% a year ago and 2.81% in the previous quarter. The expansion in operating margin suggests improved operating efficiency despite continued investments in growth.

Eternal Limited Profit Before Tax Shows Strong Growth

Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹272 crore, compared with ₹88 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, registering a 209.09% year-on-year increase. On a sequential basis, PBT rose 19.30%, highlighting steady earnings growth.

Net Profit Up YoY, Down Sequentially

The company posted a net profit (PAT) of ₹92 crore for Q1 FY27, compared with ₹25 crore in Q1 FY26, translating into a strong 268% year-on-year increase.

However, PAT declined 47.13% quarter-on-quarter, indicating that higher costs, tax expenses, or other one-time factors may have weighed on bottom-line growth despite strong operational performance.

Other Income Remains Stable

Other income came in at ₹375 crore, compared with ₹354 crore in the year-ago quarter and ₹342 crore in the previous quarter, reflecting stable non-operating income that supported overall profitability.
