Adani collaborates with ISKCON at Mahakumbh: 5 million pilgrims will receive Mahaprasad daily

The Adani Group has collaborated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to provide meals for devotees during the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj. This initiative, known as Mahaprasad Seva, will take place from January 13 to February 26.

Last Thursday, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani expressed gratitude to ISKCON for their involvement by meeting with Guru Prasad Swami, the Chairman of the ISKCON Governing Body Commission.

In a statement regarding ISKCON’s role in facilitating the Mahaprasad Seva, Adani remarked, “Kumbh Seva is a sacred space where every devotee participates in the service of God. It is a privilege for us to initiate Mahaprasad Seva for devotees at the Mahakumbh with ISKCON’s assistance.”

With the blessings of Annapurna, millions of devotees will receive complimentary meals. Guru Prasad Swami, a prominent figure within the International Krishna Consciousness Association, noted that the Adani Group exemplifies corporate responsibility and social service.

What distinguishes Gautam Adani is his humility; he proactively offers his assistance without waiting to be invited. The Mahaprasad service aims to cater to 5 million devotees, with food being prepared in two kitchens located both inside and outside the fairgrounds.

Distribution of Mahaprasad will occur at 40 sites within the Mahakumbh area, supported by 2,500 volunteers. Additionally, a golf cart service has been arranged for the elderly, disabled individuals, and mothers with children. Five copies of the Gita Saar will also be distributed to the devotees.
